BULLYING

Bullying can take many forms and it’s aim is to hurt another person either by name calling, hitting, pushing, rumours, undermining and threatening behaviour.

Nowadays bullying can happen anywhere, at home, in school and now online as well. Unfortunately, due to the nature of social media and phones these days, cyberbullying can follow a child 24/7.

You are probably aware of some of the signs. Things going missing, problems with sleeping and eating, stealing, unexpected bruises and being afraid to go to school are just some of these signs. Bullied children can often behave as a bully themselves.

If your child is being bullied and they have already told you that is a fantastic first step.  If you suspect that something is going on then please contact me for an informal chat and we can discuss the next steps to get them on the correct path and the help and support they need.
